What is a free proxy list?
A free proxy list is a regularly updated collection of proxy servers, each shown as an IP address and port, that anyone can use to route web traffic through a different IP. The proxies above are pulled live from our network monitoring and refreshed every 15 minutes, each tagged with its country, city, ISP, ASN and connection type (residential, datacenter or mobile) so you can pick the right one for the job.
How to use a proxy from this list
Hit the copy button on any row to grab its IP:Port, or open the Use panel (the chevron on the right) to get ready-to-paste cURL and Python snippets prefilled with that exact proxy, plus its location and timezone. The quick reference:

Are free proxies safe?
Use them with care. These proxies are run by unknown operators, so you should never send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive data through a free proxy. They are fine for low-stakes tasks like checking geo-blocked content, light scraping, or testing, but they are slow, short-lived, and frequently go offline. For anything important, a managed proxy network is far safer and faster.

Do these proxies support HTTPS and SOCKS5?
The proxies in this list are HTTPS proxies, which means they work with secure (https://) sites as well as plain HTTP, covering the vast majority of browsing and scraping tasks. If you specifically need SOCKS5 or guaranteed protocol support, our paid rotating proxies support both HTTPS and SOCKS5.
Why do some proxies not work?
These proxies are volunteered, unmanaged servers that can go offline, get overloaded, or be blocked at any moment. Even a freshly checked list will contain some that fail by the time you use them, that is the nature of free proxies. Download a larger batch and retry, or switch to a managed network for guaranteed uptime.
Is it legal to use proxies from a free proxy list?
Using a proxy is legal in most countries, but you are responsible for how you use it and for complying with the terms of the websites you access. Never use proxies for unauthorized access or illegal activity.
What is the difference between residential, datacenter, and mobile proxies?
Residential proxies use IPs from real home internet connections, datacenter proxies come from servers and hosting providers, and mobile proxies use cellular carrier IPs. Residential and mobile are harder for sites to detect; datacenter proxies are typically faster. You can filter the list above by type.
What is the difference between a proxy and a VPN?
A proxy reroutes the traffic of a single app or browser and swaps your IP for the one the destination site sees, but most proxies (including free ones) do not encrypt your traffic. A VPN encrypts everything leaving your whole device. Proxies are lighter and better suited to web scraping, geo-testing, and managing many IP addresses at once, which is exactly what our rotating proxies are built for, while a VPN is aimed at general personal privacy.
Do free proxies hide your IP address?
Yes, the website you visit sees the proxy's IP address instead of your real one. But that is all a free proxy hides. Most add no encryption, so your internet provider and anyone on your network can still see your traffic, and the proxy operator can log everything you send. For that reason you should never pass passwords, payments, or other sensitive data through a free proxy.
What is a proxy server and how does it work?
A proxy server is an intermediary that sits between your device and the internet. Your request goes to the proxy, the proxy forwards it to the target website using its own IP address, and the response travels back to you through the proxy. Because the site sees the proxy's IP and location rather than yours, a proxy lets you bypass geo-blocks or spread requests across many different IPs.
